The Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) Order 2015, state veterinary consent is required before carrying out physiotherapy on any animal with prior or ongoing medical conditions, and not deemed as maintenance. As a member of the RAMP register I uphold these requirements for all animals in my care, and along with this endeavor to update vets on progress and refer back as required.
